Who We Are

Making Disciples, Training Leaders, and Starting New Churches

OUR HISTORY
The first Sunday morning service of Anchor Baptist Church was held on January 26, 2014 at Hollencrest Middle School in West Covina, CA. Pastor Jack Lamb and his family moved from Arizona with the goal of establishing an independent Baptist church in the San Gabriel Valley.

After just 14 weeks, the Lord opened the door for us to rent our current facility on Lark Ellen Avenue. We are grateful for God’s hand over the first few months of our church, and we look forward to rejoicing over His continued blessings!

OUR MISSION
Anchor Baptist Church exists to glorify God by making disciples, developing leaders, and planting churches globally.

Our immediate goal is to reach lost people with the gospel and become fully self-supporting. Then we desire to plant new churches regionally and globally. Our desire is to see another church planted every 3-5 years.

Without a doubt, it is a big goal, but we are confident it is God’s heart and the last hope for this world!
